Security and privacy
Coverly holds documents that say a great deal about a person. This page explains, without hedging, how they are protected and who can see them.
-
Only your documents
The assistant answers exclusively from documents that you (or a broker you authorised) uploaded. If the information is not there, it tells you.
-
Authorisation per policy
Every request is judged on the server by asking whether the requester holds an active right over that specific policy. Not over that customer: over that policy.
-
Data in Switzerland
Documents and data sit on infrastructure located in Switzerland, in the Switzerland North region.
-
Every access leaves a trace
Changes and accesses to data are recorded, distinguishing your own actions from those carried out by a broker on your behalf.
Who can see your policies
The short answer: you, and only the brokers you granted an active delegation on that policy.
-
You grant the delegation
A broker does not get access because they are a broker. They get it because you authorise them, through an explicit action, after an invitation bound to your specific relationship.
-
You choose the scope
A single policy, or all your present and future policies. You can work with several brokers at the same time, each with a different scope.
-
You can revoke whenever you want
Revocation is immediate and affects only that delegation. The others remain valid.
-
What happens after revocation
The broker keeps the documents received while the delegation was active, exactly as happens today with paper documents they already hold. They do not see the policies you add afterwards.
Where the data lives
No ambiguity about location: it is a recurring question in the Swiss market, and there is only one answer.
-
Swiss infrastructure
The services that process documents and data run in the Swiss region of the cloud provider (Azure Switzerland North).
-
Documents kept, not scattered
Uploaded files are held in dedicated storage, reachable only by the application services and only after the authorisation check.
-
No data selling
Your documents exist to answer you. They are not passed on, they feed no advertising profile, and they are not a product.
How the assistant works
The most delicate part: what the AI actually does when you ask a question.
-
It searches inside the authorised scope first
The search starts already limited to the documents the asker is allowed to read. The filter is applied before, not after.
-
It cites the document and the clause
Every answer names the document it came from and, where one exists, the specific article. The citation quotes the text as written in your policy.
-
It says when it does not know
If the information is not in your documents, the answer states it. It is not filled in with general knowledge.
-
Information, not advice
Every answer carries that warning. Coverly shows you what your contracts say, not what you should do.
And this website?
The page you are reading is a static site, and behaves accordingly.
- It uses no cookies and writes nothing to your device.
- It uses no analytics and does not track visits.
- It loads no content from external services: fonts, images and styles come only from here.
- It contains no forms: there is nothing you could send us from this page.
- As with any website, the hosting provider records requests in its own technical logs. The privacy page explains exactly what data and why.
Want to see how it works?
You can start with a single policy and judge it on your own documents.
