Privacy policy
This policy covers the marketing website www.wearecoverly.com. The Coverly application, which lives on a separate address, has its own policy: the processing of insurance documents is described there.

2. What this website does not do
The rest of this policy makes more sense starting here. This website is made of static pages and:
- uses no cookies and writes nothing into your browser storage;
- uses no analytics, statistics or traffic measurement tools;
- contains no contact forms, sign-ups or input fields of any kind;
- loads no fonts, images, scripts or content from third party services;
- uses no tracking pixels, advertising tools or profiling.
That is why you see no consent banner: there is nothing to consent to.
3. Data processed by the hosting provider
Like any web server, the infrastructure delivering these pages automatically records some technical information with every request:
- IP address of the requesting device;
- date and time of the request;
- page or file requested;
- browser and operating system type and version (user agent);
- referring page, if any.
This data is needed to deliver the pages, keep the infrastructure secure and prevent abuse. We do not use it for analysis, we do not combine it with other information, and it does not let us identify you.
Provider and location
The website is hosted on GitHub Pages, a service of GitHub, Inc. (United States). The technical logs described above are processed by the provider under its own privacy notice and may involve a transfer abroad, covered by the contractual safeguards and transfer mechanisms put in place by that provider.
4. Legal basis and purpose
Processing of the technical logs rests on the legitimate interest in delivering the website in a functioning and secure way, under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the European GDPR. No processing takes place for marketing purposes.
5. Retention
Technical logs are retained by the hosting provider for as long as needed for security and diagnostics, according to its own retention policies. We keep no copies and derive no statistics from them.
6. Disclosure to third parties
We do not disclose, sell or transfer data collected through this website. The only party involved is the hosting provider, to the technical extent described in section 3.
7. Your rights
The law gives you the right to access data concerning you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to processing and, in the cases provided, to obtain its release.
Since this website collects no data that identifies you, in practice there is no data of ours on which those rights could be exercised from the visit alone. If you have a Coverly account, you can exercise your rights from the support section inside the application.
You also have the right to contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or, if you are in the European Union, the supervisory authority of your country.
8. External links
These pages link to the Coverly application, hosted on a separate domain. From that point the policy and terms published inside the application apply, covering authentication and the documents you upload.
9. Changes
This policy may be updated when the way the website works changes. The date of the last update is shown at the top of the page. If we ever introduce tools that collect data, this page will say so before it happens.
