Accessibility statement

Commitment

We design this website so that it can be used by as many people as possible, including those who navigate by keyboard only, use a screen reader, enlarge the page or prefer reduced motion.

Reference standard

The website is built and reviewed against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA. In Switzerland the formal conformity obligation applies to public bodies: for us this is a voluntary choice, not a compliance exercise.

What we have done

• Semantic structure: headings in hierarchical order, a single top level heading per page, page regions identified.
• Full keyboard navigation, with a focus indicator that is always visible and never removed.
• A link to skip straight to the main content.
• Verified colour contrast: text reaches at least 4.5:1 and interface elements at least 3:1, in both light and dark mode.
• No information conveyed by colour alone.
• Text resizable to 200 per cent without loss of content and without horizontal scrolling.
• Layout usable from 320 pixels wide.
• The system preference for reduced motion is respected.
• Page language declared correctly, for each of the four language versions.
• No content that depends on JavaScript: the website works with scripts disabled, because it uses none.

Known limitations

We are open about two points:

• the review was carried out internally, with manual checks and automated tools. No independent third party assessment has been carried out yet;
• the German, French and English versions are translations of the Italian one and may contain phrasing that reads less naturally than the original.

Reporting a barrier

If you hit a barrier, we want to know. This website carries no contact forms: reports go through the support section inside the Coverly application, stating the page, the browser and the assistive technology in use.

Review

This statement is reviewed at every significant change to the website, and at least once a year.
